About LAX
If you are going to, or heading out from, Los Angeles then odds are you'll be passing through LAX. This airport is a huge structure, about as large as 8 midmarket airports! LAX's Terminal 1 alone is bigger than the entire Long Beach Airport! If you find yourself with some time there, check out the reLAX lounge in the Bradley Terminal for a great place to get away from the crowds and relax for a while.
Did you Know?
The X in LAX doesn't actually stand for anything. Airport codes used to only be two letters long, and so the Los Angeles International Airport was just LA until the 1930s. After that point, airports were given three letter codes and and X was added with no meaning behind it.
