About NASA

NASA was founded in 1958 and put a man on the moon just 11 years later — how's that for mission accomplished? The final frontier remains vast and ever-expanding, of course, with stargazers of all ages hoping that a man (or woman!) will next step foot on Mars. When that might happen remains to be seen, but one thing is for certain: the world will collectively turn its eyes to the night sky and holds its breath as soon as NASA attempts it.

Did you Know?

NASA enjoys one of the highest approval ratings of any governmental agency, with an overwhelming majority of Americans standing behind its cause.
